Sons of Apollo é o novo projeto do ex-baterista do Dream Theater, Mike Portnoy, junto com o baixista Billy Sheehan (Mr.Big), o vocalista Jeff Scott Soto (Malmsteen, Talisman), o tecladista Derek Sherinian (Ex-Dream Theater) e o guitarrista Bumblefoot (Ex-GunsnRoses).
